Grants for South Australian Community Organisations

Could your sharing activity could do with some funding, and does it in any way align with the criteria of the Department of Communities and Social Inclusion’s Community Benefit Grants?

Community Benefit SA (CBSA) provides one-off project funding to incorporated, non-government, non-profit, charitable and social welfare organisations to develop and strengthen communities across the metropolitan, rural and remote regions of South Australia. Grants aim to improve the community participation, life management skills, well-being and quality of life of disadvantaged individuals, families and communities.

Check out previously funded projects to get a sense of what is eligible. Grants may be up to $50,000, with the average grant being $15,000.

The current round closes at 5pm next Friday 27 February 2015, and the next round will open on the same day. Please note that applications can take up to twelve weeks to assess.
